September, the gateway to all things fall. A time to think about taking the time to take advantage of those end-of-warm-weather days, and to enjoy the changing of the leaves, the frost on the pumpkins, and apple picking. I truly LOVE a sunny but cool fall day. I know dreary winter weather is sure to follow, but that's ok, because I will enjoy the cider tucked away in the freezer and the apple pies we made to savor a fall that's passed but left its fruits behind to enjoy all winter long! 

And then, there are the upcoming cool days when it's ok to stay in your PJ's and to sew all day long, if you can get away with it, that is!

It does not look like I will be back full-time at the shop anytime soon, as I'm in a slow-moving battle of healing after my knee surgery. But that's ok; Deb is holding the fort, and I am here in my armchair to let you know what is on sale for September!

In September, we start thinking about gift-giving time. Yes, the holidays are just around the corner. Some of us will host events, and some of us will be the guests of others.
