Just a reminder, I will close at 3 pm on Wednesday, 11/26/25, and will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. I will reopen on Friday, 11/28, for black Friday. I will also be open on Saturday, Small Business Day, and every customer will receive a gift from the shop.

Remember, if you bring a non-perishable food, hygiene, or cleaning product, you will get 10% off your entire order from now until December 20th. My customers have been so kind to bring in these items, which the Mission of Hope picks up and adds to their giving pantry that operates each Tuesday and Friday for anyone in need of a helping hand to dish up a meal to put on the tables that, without the generosity of those who give, would not have a meal to serve their families.

I either read this or someone told me...REMEMBER that cake mixes, frostings, and candles are also needed. So often one of momma's babies has a birthday, but there is no cake with candles to blow out. That was a great idea, too. So, next time you are at the grocery store, think about picking up an extra box for the food pantry!

To all of you, I want to wish a wonderful Thanksgiving Day with family and friends. If you are traveling, drive safely; if you are flying, be sure to thank your flight attendants and pilots. If by train, thank the porter, and if by bus, thank the driver for getting you to and from your destination on time. Enjoy the time off, and if you get a chance, do a bit of piecing too, the peace it brings can't be beat!
