I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that Santa found you! Here we are, almost in 2025. Time is flying by, and nobody knows where the years go. I know it sure goes faster than I would like! Enough about how time flies; we all know how it gets away from us! Let's get to the nitty gritty about the upcoming New Year's Day sale here at Ma's!

I walked through the shop on Saturday, the last day of the year that Deb and I were working. I know that in 2025, I have a ton of new fabrics arriving, and I need to purge some of the beautiful fabrics in the shop right now. When I ordered all of the inventory I have in the shop right now, I had big plans on getting samples made...well that didn't happen with most of them! SO...I am selling those lines and am excited to hear and see what you will do with them. Please bring in your finished projects for show and tell so we may enjoy what you got done that we did not! 

So, here is what is on sale:

All 90", 108", 110", and 118" wide backing are 20% off, including on the bolt or in the bags.

All 42" flannel will be 20% off.

The following lines will be 30% off; these include what is on the bolt and the precuts that match them: 

Moda, "Honey Bloom," "Indigo Bloom," and "Chickadee Landing."

Marcus, "Birds & Bees," "Honeycomb Garden,""Vivienne," "Home," "Evelands Hope Chest," and "Hearthstone."

The kit "Bridal Path," made from the "Heartstone line," was $420.00; ONLY ONE KIT LEFT will be on sale for $320.00.

The "Coffee" table topper was $57.00; it will be on sale for $45.00.

All pillowcase kits are $9.00.

SKINNY BOLT SALE, "If you think it is a skinny bolt of fabric, and you purchase the entire bolt no matter how thick or thin it is,"...it is 40% off. Any bolt, no matter how much is on the bolt, and you take it all...yes, it is 40% off. This is for 42" wide fabrics only. We all perceive skinny very differently! LOL 

All 42" Christmas and Halloween fabric are 40% off.

Riley Blake's "Gingham Cottage" and Moda's "Flower Power" will be 50% off.

SALESROOM FABRICS: The 108" wide backings in the salesroom will be $13.00 per yard, and the 42" fabrics will be only $6.00 per yard.

I know it's usually a lineup at the cutting table and the checkout...but remember it is a sale, which is about par for the course. Like you, the other quilters are coming for the annual savings, so please be patient with us. This year, as in the past, I will be at the cutting table as your cutter, Kelly will be writing invoices, Deb will be at the register, and my daughter Leslie from CA will be helping Deb checking you out. My son-in-law Adam from CA will be on the entertainment committee and packing your bolts to the cutting table should you need help! If you have not been in the shop for a while, you will be surprised by how much we have opened up the aisles, making them more accessible for walkers and wheelchairs.

Again, "Manhattan Fields Boutique" will also be open this year for your shopping pleasure. Her hours will be the same as mine: 10 a.m.—4 p.m. You will love this place if you are a woman of a certain age...or size; Deb caters to our age group of varied sizes but also carries for the younger, slimmer crowd. This is a must-stop if you want style in your 2025 look!

I am so excited that "Babes on Plum" will offer a brunch from 10 a.m. —2 p.m. on New Year's Day. This will give you a great place to fuel up on food and drink, giving you the needed energy to shop!

Start your New Year off here in Havana, where quilters meet to add to their stash and closets. This year, their tummies can get full, too!
