Here we are at Thanksgiving time already. Lordy, how can that be? Having such fun customers that y'all make our days fly by!  At this time of year, we take time to reflect on our blessings, and I want you to know that as far as being blessed by people goes, my customers are the best. Each of you has brought something to our lives here at Ma's. We may not always remember your name, but we always recognize your smile and sweet face. I wish each of you a wonderful Thanksgiving. Save a bit of turkey for lunch the next day; that's when it tastes the best!

We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day.

I want to remind you that I am having a "Retired Sample" sale. I will have well over one hundred kings, queens, twins, throws, children's, and baby quilts for sale, as well as some antique quilts from my personal collection. You will also find table runners, table toppers, wall hangings, tea towels, decorative bath towels, and pillowcases. Over the years, I have given away many quilts to kids, friends, and strangers who suffered from fire or floods. I have had a hard time culling these out, but I know they need to come out of storage and be enjoyed by others. These are finished quilts, quilted and bound. I am selling them for cost and some below cost. You who are quilters will be doing the math in your head and realize the price is right. If I figured in the hours of some of the custom quilting and hours of hand binding, I would have less than the cost of most of them. The following dates are the days I will be at my studio for the sale:

I hope to see many of you.

While writing this, I want to remind you that I close in December for winter break. This year, the following dates will be set for December 23 through December 31. I will reopen on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, for my annual New Year's Day sale. This year, my daughter (Leslie) and (silly, in it for the laughs) son-in-law (Adam) from California will help us with the sale. So, should you be in line for a while, I am sure Adam will provide plenty of entertainment. Come for the savings and stay for the laughs.

I will ask again if any of the eateries in the area will be open for lunch. In years past, they have not. However, I will ask again.

Also, remember that we get new items every week, so stay up to date on my Facebook page, where I post all new items, and if you can't make it to the shop, I have them on my website!
