This is the year that we have gained an extra day in our year! The earth has spun 365 times plus an additional 0.242 yearly. In the fourth year, that builds up to 0.9688 of an extra day; although it falls short of a full day, it's a short day and is added in February once every four years! Now...to me, that calls for a day of celebration for quilters, and we will do just that on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 10 am to 5 pm ONLY!

I have thought this over for a while and concluded that I need to use "29" on this extra day we have gained this year! SO...You can take $2.90 off all full-priced fabric per yard on the bolt 1 yard minimum. This will include all full-priced fabric on the bolt, regular width, and wide backs!

Also, for all of the already cut (we will not be cutting fats that day), this price is only suitable for those already cut in the shop that day will be $2.90 each. We will also change the cost of the full-priced fat bundles to reflect the $2.90 per fat in the bundle.

The back room is full of recently added sales fabric. These sale fabrics have already been marked down to a great price, but on 2/29/24, I will take an additional .29 cents per yard off the sale price of 1-yard min. That is for the regular-width fabrics in the salesroom and the wide backings back there. If you last visited the salesroom a while ago, you will be surprised at what has been added.

This is an in-shop-only sale. I have yet to have the time on this new website to figure out how to have any current sales online, too. I am very sorry, but with my shop being staffed by only Deb, me, and an extra person to write the invoices during sales, it leaves very little time in a day to do all that needs to be done. For my online customers, please visit my website's clearance pages for items on sale there. I add to the clearance pages as often as time allows. It is a daunting undertaking adding the entire shop online, but a few new items are added daily as time permits. One day, I will have it completed...but not soon as I still have a sizable inventory to get online. But, my commitment to having the shop in its entirety is my ultimate goal.

As I work the shop this week, I am sure to find other items to add to the sale for the 29 sale day. So be sure to find some time to visit us that day...after all, you have been given an extra day, and what better way could it be used than a day at Ma's? I am always excited to see my customers, and sales days are an excellent way for me to work the shop to see you all! I hope to see many of you on 2/29/24!

The weatherman predicts a nice day to walk around the shops downtown and pick out a new project at Ma's to work on those days when the weatherman is not so apt to predict a sunny day!
