Here we are down to the wire...Christmas will be here in just a matter of weeks now. I am betting you have a few last-minute gifts to give that you don't want to pay out a lot of dollars for, but still, give a homemade gift..." because they know you quilt & because you do, they would love to have a handmade gift from YOU." Here are a few table runners suitable for inside use (note: I have several more in different prints in the shop); by using Insul-Bright instead of batting, you turn them into a safe place to sit hot dishes on. Insul-Bright guard your tabletops and counters against the hot! They are also great to place on outside tables when you entertain in the summer, bringing a festive mode with little money invested.

These runner kits are now on sale for $15.00; you get the top, back & binding fabrics. Square up the panel for the top, combine three layers, quilt & bind. You can complete one in the morning and one in the afternoon...Boom, you have gifts to give with very little time or dollars invested! There are many others to choose from online and in the shop (more in the shop as I have not had time to get them all photographed and posted).

Insul-Bright is my go-to batting for most table runners... excellent protection for less investment than cotton batting...(don't get me wrong, I LOVE COTTON BATTING but prefer the protection of Insul-Bright for table toppers.)
