Here it is mid-June already, but I still have better than 2 weeks of my VKay left, and I plan on using it all! 

I have read a great book so far "The Wager" & one or more in my lineup, toured the Grand Canyon, and Sedona at least twice, once to see the sunrise, and enjoyed mountain views, and saw various views of the ocean from the car (been cold here)...but a walk on the beach & laying on the sand will be on the agenda over the next few days as temps are to rise. Best of all spending time with my daughter, SIL & new grand pup.

Deb has been holding the fort, as many of you know. But, I may have failed to mention that for the WHOLE MONTH of June, all wide backing is 15% off. I just thought if you didn't know already I would put it out here to you!

All Illinois Shop Hop magazine is now at the shop. ALL who purchase their AISH magazine here at Ma's will be entered into a drawing for a chance to a 108" X 108" wide backing of your choice, there are 3 chances to win, as I am drawing 3 names from the lot AND...you just may be a winner if you purchased your magazine at Ma's! 

The magazine is a real bargain for quilters, giving you all the inside information about the 70+ shops that participate in the Hop. There are oodles of info about longarm quilters, sewing machine outlets, and patterns to use the All IL. shop hop fabric in.

Speaking about the AISH fabrics we do have them in stock at the shop. You can pre-order them on my website, we will process your order and you can choose "pick-up" at the shop OR shipping to you. All shipping orders will be processed and put in the mail on Aug. 1st. All orders which chose "pick-up" will be processed at the time of your ordering and we will sack them up with your paid invoice, and you can pick them up anytime AFTER Aug 1st.

It's the rules of AISH that while the fabrics can be advertised, and sold as a pre-order they can not be given possession to the buyer until AFTER Aug. 1st. So to assure yourself of getting what you want & need to complete a memorial quilt of the 2023 AISH get your order in soon.  If you will just type HOP into the search box on my website all of the 2023 fabrics will pop right up for your viewing pleasure!

While I have been gone Deb & Kelly have been busy making samples. Linda too has taken time off to visit with her daughter & grandgirls, but I have several samples on the docket for her too upon her arrival back home. These ladies keep me tied to the longarm...they forget it's 3 -1!!! LOL, I feel blessed to have such excellent seamstresses who pull from their skill sets to keep the shop draped in beautiful samples.

I also want to share with you that due to July 4th being celebrated by most towns on Saturday, July 2nd, I have decided to close the shop that day so that we too can enjoy the festivities in our respective hometowns.

So make a note that Ma's will be CLOSED Saturday, July 2nd, but will be OPEN on Tue. July 4th, for your shopping pleasure!
