Welcome to Ma's Got'a Notion
Here at Ma's, we got your back...quilt back that is!!!

As I said last week, April was casting a very busy schedule for me, busy but fun filled!
We only have one more show to go this month and that will be: http://illinoisamishcountry.com/wp/illinois-amish-country-and-arthur-area/quilts/
This is always one of the shows we look forward to vending at, we call it our mini VKay with fresh baked bread! So many interesting people to meet and learn about. Arthur is such a laid back town with quaint shops, markets, bakeries and eateries too. So what is better than pairing all that with a quilt show too. Looking for a place to stay while you are there or maybe a traditional Amish family meal: http://acmtours.com/custom-tour-planning/multi-day-options/amish-home-meals-groups/
Of course you can also find places to stay and visit in Arcola too.
So get out on April 28, 29 and 30th., enjoy the quilt show and all the area has to offer.
Stop by my booth and say hello, I will be tickled to see that you too, are enjoying some free time. This show is a good time to visit the past...The people of Arthur are committed to peace, and their way of life is a breath of fresh air to observe. A visit to Arthur is like traveling back in time more than 150 years ago, yes you will see many current modern convenient things in Arthur too, but time does seem to go at a slower pace there. Hope to see you there.

Deb will be holding the fort this week and Linda will be there to help out too, as for me I will check in & out all week.
My California offspring, will be flying home to visit her momma & daddy...My daughter Leslie will be home all week and we have lots of things planned for fun times all week.

Of course, I can't sign off without telling you that many new things will be coming into the shop this week and as always there are things I don't post because they are re-stock items.

I will also like to let you know that several weeks ago I made a simple door hanger for the shop door just to show my support for Ukraine. Several people asked about buying a kit of it. I was not looking to make it for sale, but since a few asked I did kit up the fabrics I had on hand and then ordered a bit more. I have sold 9 to date and I will be donating $5.00 of each sale to the World Central Kitchen:
https://wck.org/
You too can make a donation to help feed families of Ukraine. If you would like a kit of the door hanging, you can call the shop at 309-543-6613 or order it from my website https://www.masgotanotion.com/shop/c/p/Glory-To-Ukraine-Kit-GLORY2UKRAINE-x62904107.htm

Have a great week and hope to see you around the cutting table here at Ma's.

Continued Prayers for Ukraine
