I hope you all have enjoyed the big "melt down" the past few days. I was so happy to see how fast that foot of snow, which most of the area seen last week, go away so quickly!
If the forecast is right, we have some nice weather ahead this week!
I hope you can get to the shop and enjoy some of the awesome savings I have in my salesroom. Just to recap...since I could not have my 2/2/22 sale day (NOTE: we still are planning a fun day for 2/22/22, so plan on stopping in) for the remainder of February, all of the fabrics in the saleroom is $6.00 per yard or $4.00 per 1/2 yard (note, the 1/2 yds must come from different bolts and they do not count as 1 yd).
All of the rolled and tied fat quarters are alway $2.00 each, but for the remainder of February, buy 10 at $2.00 each and get 2 free!
I am still waiting on the "Right as Rain" line by Kim Diehl from Henry Glass. I did get an email from the supplier, telling me that they expect it in their warehouse by February 15th. It truly has been out of their hands due to shipping issues, as it has been for all of my suppliers. So, just hang in here with me and as soon as I get them I will let you know. In the meantime...I want to share with you the "little quilt kits" we will be making up. Honestly, I have always loved the "Lt'l" quilt patterns Kim has put out in her yearly Whatnots collection, but she really knocked the Whatnots 11 collection out of the ballpark...Here is a sneak peek:

If you are interested in purchase any of these, you might want to give the shop a ring and and let us know which one to kit for you. I have a feeling that any reorder of these fabrics may be slim to none...not sure, just my gut gauging, how reorders seem to be going right now.

If you are into reproduction quilts...these small prints are a wonderful addition to your stash. These will not be available once they are gone, this is the last of the reprints for this line (note, the bundles are the full collection.)
Several new wide backings arrived at the shop this past week too...when I say new, a few are repeats of some we have sold out of and are just so awesome I want to keep them in-stock!

We will be vending at the Springfield Quilt show on March 18 & 19, 2022 in the Ore building at the state of IL fairgrounds. Always a great show, but this year I think it will blow your socks off as...these quilters have had 4 full years to get ready for this show...I think it will be worth your time, your drive and even an overnight stay, to take in all of the quilts they will have on display, so plan on attending this one. The venue is huge and I think you will have plenty of space to social distance. It is handicap accessible. Put it on your calendar...you can even write it in "ink"....I think the days of cancellation is behind us, so put away your number 2 lead pencils and bring back out, your ink pens!!!!
Quick reminder that we have a fun day planned here at the shop on Tue. 2/22/22 come join the fun...I have put in my orders to the weather "powers to be"...to have the sun shining for you. And... always remember you can spend a fun filled day in Havana we have dining, great little specialty shops, and 3 dress shop boutiques that cater to the tiny among us, to the fuller figure...like yours truly!!!!
Grab up your quilting buddy's and make it a quilters day out...it's been a LONG WINTER!
